Participatory Exhibition Design

Britta Riley and Rebecca Bray’s design firm, Submersible Design, consulted for top art and science museums, developing new exhibitions, interactive content, and programming. Working from pre-funding concepts to final installation, they developed concept designs for grant proposals, wrote business plans, drafted detailed Requests For Proposals, and produced exhibit installations. Their clients included the Smithsonian (DC), the Whitney Museum of American Art (NYC), the Museum of Science and Industry (CHI), and the American Museum of Natural History (NYC).
