We learn best by getting our hands dirty together.

Riley has worked with educational institutions, educators, and students from every living generation and in cultures around the world,

She is a champion of constructivist education, hands-on learning by doing with others, because it works better for all kinds of learners, throughout life.

Her exhibition design firm with Rebeca Bray, Submersible Design, consulted with museums like the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History to bring interactive and participatory design to informal education institutions rooted in behaviorist knowledge-presentation for centuries, improving measured learning outcomes.

She has also taught at the graduate and undergraduate level as an adjunct professor at New York University’s Interactive Communications Program & Interactive Media Arts Programs, in the Tisch School of the Arts, where she mentored over 50 students through their Masters Thesis projects.

She has collaborated with public school teachers at every level to develop curricula around her enticing STEM-based artwork.

As a volunteer, she serves in leadership positions and advocates for constructivism in the public school system in New York State.
